Training Midpoint: the Half-Marathon

In Life, Marathon on December 12, 2011 at 7:48 pm

The training program that I am engaged in is a slow build up to the distance, and at about the midpoint, you run a half marathon, which I did yesterday. I thought that it was a successful run, and despite some set backs, I was satisfied with the results.

Time Lapse

In Plays, School, Writing Samples on December 9, 2011 at 1:57 pm

This is a short play I wrote for my Teaching Literacy Through Drama class in Fall of 2011. It is intended for middle school students and features subtle lessons about not taking short cuts, and the satisfaction gained from a job well done.
