It’s official: Apple Computers has won its case against Apple Corps Records. In case you weren’t aware, Apple Corps, the record company owned by the former Beatles and their families had sued Apple Computers for violating a 1991 agreement in which they said they would not use the Apple logo to sell music, thus infringing on Apple Corps’ Trademark. Apple Corps agreed at the same time to never sell computer products. They then sued Apple Computers because the iTunes music store allegedly violated that agreement.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we get it: He’s King!

After much fussing and annoyance, along with a missed opportunity and a monster screening I couldn’t watch, I finally saw King Kong last night. I’m sure you’re all saying, “Tell us! Tell us! What did you think?!?” (unless, of course, you already saw it, or you just don’t care), so I won’t keep you in suspense.

It was almost better than LOTR, and it only had two endings!

I snuck into a screening of The Chronicles of Narnia last night at my theatre, and I have to say, it was pretty goddamn good. (I know, inappropriate choice of words) Weirdest thing about it: It got to the point where you ALMOST forgot that all those talking animals weren’t really talking. It was so cool, I didn’t really mind when they hit you over the head with a crucifix – i mean stick – with the Christian symbolism. Oh yeah, and Tilda Swinton is one scary bitch.
